Our Group Care – Nurture and Grow

With inclusion in mind.

Nurture and Grow

Nurture and Grow is the name for our group care sessions. The name represents how we want to help parents nurture their children and themselves, and create the best environment for growth.

We will be running approximately 10 sessions, with some optional drop ins. The sessions are relaxed and we want to make the atmosphere as welcoming and accessible as possible.

Each session will have a few topic focuses, these range from but aren’t limited to:

  • Baby feeding
  • Sleep
  • Communication
  • Parent wellbeing
  • Play
  • Home safety
  • Daily Routines
  • Stress management

Inclusion

Every session is disability inclusive and informed. We want to pioneer a fully inclusive way of providing family support and work with families who may need extra support.

Anyone who comes to our sessions may request extra support if they need it. This can include help with language translation and easy read versions of information sheets and documents. We want to make things as easy as possible to understand.

Opportunities

This is a great opportunity to meet other parents in your area who have babies at a similar age and get involved in peer support with the help of our experienced Family Wellbeing Workers.

We aim to help you feel supported and become more confident, helping you give your child the best possible start in life.
